The Problem We Saw

With a solid background in eCommerce from our sister company, Web Solutions NYC, we've had a lot of exposure to different kinds of problems that eCommerce companies typically had. These problems extended beyond the web, though. They were problems and issues that affected brick-and-mortar retailers, omnichannel retailers, and everyone in between.

These problems were expensive, and difficult to solve.

Some companies were using one tool to manage shipping, one for inventory, another for eCommerce, and connecting them all manually. Some companies were getting purchase orders and customer purchases from email. Both of these types of operations were relatively inexpensive, but required time to manage the nuances.

On the flip side, larger commerce businesses were purchasing large enterprise resource planning softwares at very high costs, and customizing them beyond what they were meant to do. This was very expensive, but provided a fully customized workflow.

But there was nothing in between.

It was an expensive, outdated system with mandatory customization, or a handful of softwares taped together to handle the job.

We started developing SkuNexus to fill that niche, and to make running commerce operations a pleasure, not a pain.
